How to Change Language Settings

Available Languages

We currently offer the platform in 12 languages:

  • 🇬🇧 English,
  • 🇫🇷 French,

  • 🇵🇹 Portuguese,
  • 🇳🇱 Dutch,

Instructor Profile Language

When you create a new instructor account, your profile language is set automatically if your browser or system matches one of our available languages.

This language setting applies to your dashboard interface and any new sessions you create.

You can update it at any time from your profile settings: https://play.zensimu.com/dashboard/settings

Session Language

You can update the default language for individual sessions directly within the Session Settings.

Here is how the Session Language works:

  • Participant View: For any participant joining the session, this session language is automatically applied to their interface.
  • Automatic Translation: When you change the language of an existing session, the platform will automatically attempt to translate standard role names and messages. For example: 🇬🇧 Yellow becomes 🇫🇷 Jaune, or 🇬🇧 Wholesaler becomes 🇪🇸 Mayorista.
  • Custom Templates: You can also set up a specific language for any custom session template. This allows you to easily maintain templates in different languages without needing to switch your main instructor profile language back and forth.

Player Language

If only a portion of your class needs a different language than the one set for your session, individual students can easily override the session default.

Players can update their personal language preference by using the navigation bar at the top of their screen, with the Flag Dropdown and choose their preferred language.
