Lean tool - SMED (reduce changeovers)

SMED means "Short-Minute-Exchange-of-Die". It designates a method to reduce the changeover times of a production process.

In the game, when investing in this "SMED" improvement, you can reduce the time taken to switch the color or shape of your tool:

We recommend reducing to the minimum (0.1sec) for all stations.

This allows you to distribute the work more easily between the different players, because they will be able to process different colors/shapes more quickly.
